I don’t subscribe to the elitist idea that mathematical is a realm of experts. One could argue that symbols hinders understanding of stuff that’s relatively basic.

Since most mathematics is now solved by programming (Python is now being taught as part of the curricilum many places), the symbolic math cannot be replicated easily.

I’d like to see a standardized english-like way of expressing mathematics; this would be better for understanding among the non-initiated, *and* it would be usable for programming.


That would be forward thinking IMHO.
